Picture it..Close your eyes..... (wait.. not yet...)... standing at the front window.. feeling the glow of Holiday lights on your face, the warmth of the family around you, remembering the days of your youth at grandma's most cozy house. Remember a few family members cooking in the kitchen, others sitting in the dining room at the table playing a few board games and the football game on in the living room. You are standing in a home with updates all around. The fall like golden hard wood floors that were recently restored in the dining and living room areas... an updated fireplace with a mantle hosting the oversized tv with the game on. You hear laughs coming from the 2 generously sized bedrooms downstairs as family gathers around, and maybe a little splashing of water from the updated bathroom, or giggles as someone completes the seek and find hanging on the wall. The dirty towels get tossed down the stairs to the basement so they can be washed - LATER. Those can wait. (Don't hit the kids playing at the workbench though!) It's been a hard, long and stressful day, so you decide to retreat to upstairs. Plush carpeting greets your tired feed as you make your way up and waiting for you is your own master suite. Go into the bathroom, turn the shower on, turn the wall heater on for extra comfort, but go retrieve your pj's from the walk in closet first! You look out the windows, over looking the driveway to see the last of the guests leave for the night.. The white weather glistens off of the BRAND NEW roof... and you spot footprints.... hoofprints... and you smile as the events of the day have warmed your heart.. I mean after all, it is the first time you have hosted family. You peak over the side of the stairwell to hear the tiny giggles that remain, and slide on over to bed. You are at peace. It's not a dream, you ARE home. Dreams do come true... and there is time to have it all for the Holidays... FOREVER HOME. Ask for the list of updates!
