Former private school & community center with 20,926 finished interior sq ft with a paved lot that runs along the back of the school. Also comes w/additional concrete parking lot. The building consists of 7 spacious classrooms, 4 on the 2nd floor with lots of storage cabinets, & closets, & three on the 1st floor. Most of the walls in the school are brick or concrete, they were scrubbed, & treated for mold, cracks in the walls were repaired, and those walls repainted. The gym ceiling had numerous leaks, these were all repaired, the insulation on the ceiling was removed, then the ceilings were repainted. The cafeteria & kitchen ceilings were also scraped, repaired, treated for mold, & repainted. Throughout the school all loose asbestos tiles were removed. The drains in the school were cleaned out, and the drainage around the school was addressed. The kitchen was scrubbed, & cleaned. Floors were scrubbed. Electric is working. There are so many ideas to make money with this school, renting out the gym, using the cafeteria & commercial kitchen for special events, renting out classrooms for daycare, tutoring, job training, etc. Problems to address: plumbing supply lines, HVAC, exterior finish, damaged plaster walls.
